Dr. Philip Gordon, a specialist in implant and cosmetic dentistry, has trained dentists nationwide and has the highest certifications in Implant Dentistry. Dr Gordon has taught doctors in live surgery how to place and restore implants in their patients for years. Dr. Gordon received his degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He then went to the University of Missouri Kansas City, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2009. During this four-year program, he also worked in his father’s dental office in North Kansas City for extra hours. He worked there full-time following graduation before opening his office in Leawood, Kansas, in 2014.
After earning his dental degree, Dr. Gordon completed a one-year comprehensive implant dentistry program through the UNLV Dental College MAXI course. After that, he trained in Paris with Dr. Hilt Tatum—the inventor of the Sinus lift—and under Dr. Jack Hahn, the inventor of Nobel Biocare’s Replace Implant and Glidewell Dental implant, the HT implant.
Dr. Philip Gordon has completed thousands of hours of continuing education on dental implants and has placed and restored over 10,000 implants himself over 15 years. He is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).
Dr. Philip has a deep passion for cosmetic dentistry and transforming smiles. He stays committed to continuous learning and keeping up with the latest advancements in implant and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Gordon has personally placed over 1,000 veneers and completed hundreds of smile makeovers using the best techniques and the highest-quality labs. He and his team are committed to delivering exceptional patient care, made possible by his dedication to ongoing education and the latest advancements in medical technology.
Dr. Philip Gordon is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Board of Oral Implantology, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
